As the Nevada legislature enters this 2017 session, Ira Hansen has experience and perspective that he will share.   What are the major issues that will be addressed in this legislative session?  What surprises may be in store?  What issues are of special concern to Ira?   You will have the opportunity to ask questions and leave this dinner talk knowing much more than you currently do about your state government and what might happen during this legislative session.

Ira Hansen has served in the Nevada Assembly since 2010.  He has distinguished himself in the legislature as a proponent of the 2nd Amendment and limited government.  He has spoken out on U.S. Bureau of Land Management overreach and excessive construction industry regulation.  He has recognized mining as fundamental to Nevada’s rural economies.  Ira is a native Nevadan, born in Reno, a graduate of Sparks High where he met his wife Alexis.  They have eight children.  At age 26 he started his own plumbing company.  In addition to managing his company he has made time to coach Little League, coach Pop Warner football, be a Boy Scout scoutmaster, and be involved in his church.   (He is a third generation Eagle Scout, and four of his sons are now fourth generation Eagle Scouts.)
